ATTACK ON WOMAN

INTRUDER ENTERS PORCH . A young woman living at Herriesville, near Te Aroha, was awakened at 2 o'clock on Saturday morning to find an intruder in her room. The young woman, who is suffering from bruises and shock, was asleep on a porch at the rear of her parents’ residence when she v/as attacked. Her screams awakened her parents, who ran to her aid, but the intruder escaped. The police were summoned, but no trace was found of the assistant. A similar incident occurred at Ruakaka some weeks ago.
