GERMAN AEROPLANES OFF ENGLISH COAST FALL INTO SEA ONE CREW RESCUED (Reed. Oct. 18, 3 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 17. The Air Ministry announces that after the earlier reported enemy activity off the east coast of England, the Royal Air Force observed two enemy aircraft off the north-east coast and attacked and shot them down, both falling into the sea. One crew was rescued. The British planes returned safely.
