DEATH OF LADY HAIG

WIDOW OF ARMY CHIEF (Reed. Oct. 19, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 18. The death has occurred of Countess Haig, the widow of Earl Haig, commander of the British army in France during the Great War, who died in 1928. Prior to her marriage Lady Haig was the Hon. Dorothy Vivian, being a daughter of the third Lord Vivian. She was the author of “A Scottish Tour,” published in 1935 and “The Man I Knew,” published in 1936.
