QUALITY OF BEEF
Cbmplaints regarding the quality ol beef at present being killed has led a Masterton butcher to reply that the fault is not with the trade. "If you want anything to blame, you can start with the drought last season,” he said. “Then you can. blame a cold, dry winter. The cattle available to butchers are the trouble—the butchers have no choice."
