Gisborne Petrol Coupon Issue
Since a start was made on September 15 in the issuing of petrol coupons in the Gisborne district, 2GBI sets have been made available to the operators of private cars and light trade vehicles by the Gisborne Post Office authorities. The number of vehicles of that type on the register in Gisborne is 3474. It is apparent that the remaining 793 drivers have not yet used supplies in hand that were allowed under the special licenses. Of the 2G7 motor-cycles registered in Gisborne, application has been made in respect of 198.
