TRANSFER OF TROOPS
About the middle of November the majority of the troops now in Raining at the Hopu Hopu military camp will' be moved to Papakura to continue their preparation for active service in the special force. In the words of the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple, the authorities intend making Papakura one of the show places of New Zealand, and rapid progress is now being maefe towards the completion of the undertaking.
