ELLERSLIE SURPRISE SPRING HANDICAP WIN BRONWEN TAKES SPRINT BIG “TOTE" INCREASE. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. The Auckland Racing Club’s spring meeting was concluded in fine weather at Ellerslie yesterday. The course was in good order. The attendance was good. The totalisator handled £41,764 10s. against £27,083 10s on the second day last year, an increase of £14.681.
