APPEARANCE IN COURT MAGISTRATE’S RULING (Pur Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The magistrate, Mr. H. W. Bundle, stated in the Police Court to-day that he had been asked what was the attitude of the court in proceedings under the Destitute Persons Act when the man concerned was in camp. His Worship said that a member of the expeditionary force in New Zealand was not exempt from appearing in person when required before any court of law.
