HIGH CASTE’S CHANCES DERBY AND W.F.A. RACES (Klee. Tel. Copyright—United I’ross Assn.) (Reed. Oct. 16, 9 a.m.) MELBOURNE 15. The apprentice rider, Ron Hall, suffered a broken leg as a result, of a street accident at Caulfield on Saturday. Rivette showed slight soreness after his race in the Herbert Power Handicap yesterday, but was much improved to-day. High Caste greatly impressed by his victory in the Caulfield Guineas. He should win the Derby and also the weight-for-age races now that Ajax is a doubtful starter.
