Reed. 2.40 p.m. RUGBY, Oct. 13: The Salvage Association lias announced that the operations of the. submarine Thetis have reached the stage where attempts are being made with compressed air for the purpose of expelling the water from the main body of the submarine. These tests reveal leakages which must be located and made good before the vessel can be brought to the surface.
