SUSPENSION PLAN
ELECTIONS IN BRITAIN (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 3 p.m. RUGBY, Oct. 12, The British Government has introduced a bill in Parliament for the suspension of local elections in Great Britain on lines similar to legislation enacted during the last war. The bill proposes that the terms of office of existing aldermen and councillors be extended and that provisions be made for the filling of casual vacancies.
