CYCLIST KILLED

TYRE BLOW-OUT MISHAP THROWN DOWN BANK (Per Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. Injuries sustained when an accident occurred at Napier yesterday , resulted in the death in hospital this morning of John Boyd, a middle-aged man. Mr. Boyd was eye ting down a strep incline in Goldsmith road when his tyre blew out. He lost control of the machine and ran over a bank and was thrown into the backyard of a house below the road, His injuries included concussion, a spinal injury and partial paralysis. An inquest will be held.
