SUPERVISOR’S RETURN

DISTRICT PIG COUNCIL

(Mr. H. A. Hopkins, supervisor for the Tairawhiti District Pig Council, who was called up as a member of the military reserve, returned to Gisborne yesterday, and has resumed his normal duties with the Pig Council. Mr. Hopkins returned only yesterday afternoon by air service, and was immediately on duty attending to urgent office work that had accumulated during his absence. Next week lie will attend the Hawke’s Bay Show to contact members of the pig clubs in that part of his district, and will return to Gisborne at the end of the week.
