SUN'S PARTIAL ECLIPSE
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night.
Tho partial eclipse of the sun this morning was a failure as a spectacle in Wellington, only occasional glimpses being obtainable through the clouds. That it is taking place at all probably escaped the notice of quite a number 'of people. Anything approaching a detailed observation was denied to the Carter Observatory.
