WOOL CUP PURCHASE

BRITISH-N.Z. TALKS NEARING FINALITY (Tnr Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Minister of Marketing, the Hon. W. Nash, staled last night that negotiations with the United Kingdom Government for the purchase of New Zealand wool were approaching finality. Details of the procedure were still under discussion and, when these arc completed, the regulations will be gazetted providing for the purchase by the New Zealand Government of all wool for the purposes of New Zealand and the United Kingdom. In tlie meantime the wool regulations, which temporarily prohibit (lie sale or other disposal of wool and which were due to expire to-morrow, have been extended. They will be revoked when the new wool purchase regulations come into operation.
