GOLF SEASON CLOSES
FOURSOMES AT AWAPUNI COMPETITIONS CONCLUDE DRAW FOR LAST SERIES The competitions arranged during the season for members of the Poverty Bay Golf Club will conclude tomorrow afternoon with the playing of Canadian mixed foursomes. TURANGANUI CLUB TITLE PLAY The finals in the various sections of the Turanganui Golf Club’s championships will be played to-morrow on the Tuoi links. In the ladies’ B section last year’s champion, Mrs. W. E. Bullivant, will meet Mrs. R. Robb and an interesting match is expected. The ladies’ C" section final will be between Miss P. A. Breck and Mrs. N. Cram, another evenly-matched pair. The finalists last season in the men’s A division, R. Keiha and P. Kaua, again will contest the issue and in the B section R. Gordon will play N.
