INJURY TO SPINE

FALL FROM TRAMCAR HOSPITAL CHAIRMAN (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. The chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, Mr. Allan J. Moody, after stepping off a tram in Queen street at 8.30 this morning, slipped and fell heavily on his back. He reached his office 100 yards away and a doctor was sent for. He was ordered to the hospital, where an X-ray examination revealed a serious injury to his spine.
