RETURN TO ICELAND

ESCAPED BRITISH PLANE (Reed. Oct. 13, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 12. The Air Ministry has announced that the investigation into the departure of the British flying-boat which had been interned in Iceland shows that the pilot did not think that he had promised to stay, but the Iceland authorities thought differently. The pilot, therefore, volunteered to return to Iceland. The Air Ministry concurred that there should not be any doubt fegarding the parole. The pilot, theic fore, returns as soon as possible.
