I Reay Bridge and Kincarole look j 52sec. for half-a-mile. Pcnnycomequick and Raana were | on terms at the end of six furlongs in j 1.18 2-sscc. i Millions and Plenteous went nicely i ever five furlongs in 1.4 3-ssec. The ■ former was doing the better at the : finish. Bold Step went oil' slowly from the half-mile peg and ran the last three | furlong's in 38 2-ssec. The only fast work after breakfast | was a five-furlong sprint by Mendclsjsohn in I.4sec. ; Royal Stuart jumped two brush i fences in good style. He is in good order and is jumping with more con- | fidence. i Lovclilt gave a faultness display I over a round of the steeplechase I course. i Whakao jumped two hurdles well i and finished up with a couple of solid i rounds on the plough. Waikawa, Mimicry and Okawa all | did pace work. ' I Whetu is still on the easy list with j an injured leg. | Siy Fox and Blonde Princess left yes- | terday morning to fulfill engagements i at Auckland.
