Queen Carnival Coronation

Arrangements for the coronation of Miss Norma Henderson as Gisborne's centennial queen arc not yet complete, but it is expected that the ceremony will be carried out at a semi-public function to be held by the queen carnival executive at an early date. There are no centennial gatherings set down for the next few weeks, and therefore the opportunity will not occure for crowning the elected queen with any elaborate ceremonies: but the committee is anxious to make some acknowledgement of the work of the candidates and their -espective committees.
