During the winter months hundred: of white butterfly caterpillars crawled up the outside walls of the Palmerston North Courthouse, and there settled themselves in protecting crannies tc undergo the change into chrysalids. But behind them came an army oi destroying wasp's, with the result tha; the chrysalids are now either emptj shells or are. acting as nurseries foi th grubs of the wasp.
