• QUESTION IN INDIA “ (Reed. Oct. 11, 11.30 a.m.) DELHI, Oct. 10. Congress passed a resolution by 188 ; votes to 58 demanding that Britain declare her war aims and also condemning Nazi aggression. The resolution seeks a British declaration of how her war aims will j apply to India. I The resolution said that the Con- : gross did not wish precipitately to : decide against war. On the contrary i it wished to give Britain every opportunity of defining the position. If it | was a war for freedom and derno- , cracy, India must be given independj ency 'based on the recognition ot the i rights of all minorities. Congress cle- | dared that it was opposed to ImperI ialist wars anc| the domination of | one country over another. Sir Muhammad Zafrullah Khan, a member of the Governor-General’s Executive Council will represent India at the conference of Dominion Ministers.
