Mr. J. Vigor Brown, Napier, has been unanimously elected commodore of the re-formed Napier Sailing Club. Members spoke eulogistic-ally of Mr. Brown’s keen interest and activities in ' yachting affairs in pre-earthquake days on the old Inner Harbour, and the decision to elect him commodore was carried by acclamation.
