General Clean-up week shall he observed in Gisborne, and this year same will commence on MONDAY, October 1(>, 1939. Householders are requested to collect all old tins (which must be flattened), rags, and other rubbish that has accumulated at their premises and deposit same in a tidy heap on the roadside. Broken bottles and pieces of glass should he placed in tins in order to facilitate removal. Lorries will remove the rubbish free of cost, the order of removals being as follows: KAITI, MONDAY.
