LETTERS TO PRISONERS

DANISH SCHEME (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 12 noon RUGBY, Oct. 8. Copenhagen reports state that, in response to a request from the International Red Cross at Geneva, the Danish Red Cross has drafted a scheme to establish a central office in Copenhagen for the distribution of correspondence to prisoners of war in all countries involved in hostilities. The former High Commissioner in Danzig, M. Helmer Rosting, has agreed to take control of the office, which will be situated at the residence of the late Prince Waldemar. The scheme awaits approval from Geneva.
