AMERICAN DEPORTMENTS OFFICER’S REPORT SEIZED (Reed. Oct. 9, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Oct. 6. The chairman, Mr. Martin Dies, announced that the committee investigating activities against America has seized a report by Martin Chancey, secretary of the Communist Party, disclosing Communist activities in the Washington navy yard, the Government printing office, and other Federal departments. The committee is questioning Chancey and will publish a report later.
