CENTENARIAN’S “PERM”
fJEW ORLEANS, Aug. 8. Mrs. Joseph Gonzales could not resist any longer so she stepped into a beauty parlour and got her first permanent wave in 104 years. “My goodness,” said the centenarian who has two living daughters, 22 grandchildren and 50 great-grand-children. “I’m*ll frizzed up like some of those Indians that used to torment the settlers at Donaldsonville wheri'T was a girl.”
