NEUTRALS TAKEN

SWEDISH—ESTONIAN WARNING TO FINLAND (Reed. Oct. 6, 12 noon) LONDON, Oct. 5. The Stockholm correspondent of The Times reports that three more Swedish steamers, the Vera, Virginia md Mercia, were captured in the south Baltic and taken to Germany. Stockholm reports that the Esthonim steamer, Aarne, proceeding from Gothenburg to Antwerp with timber, was captured by a destroyer in the Kattegat and taken to Germany. A Helsinski message says that a German note to Finland warns the merchant fleet to refrain from behaviour likely to make them suspect and also against any attempt to avoid the German blockade. The note is similar to that sent to the United States, Sweden and Denmark. It is stated in Berlin that captured Danish ships are shortly being released from Germany without the cargoes, but Germany is paying for seized goods aboard them.
