Three men and two women were jointly charged with the murder of four men and one woman in the explosion which occurred in the centre of Coventry on August 25. The prosecutor said all the accused, lived in the same house, where they made a time bomb A terrific explosion rocked the centre of Coventry on August 25. Five people died and 12 were taken to hospital, while 50 others were slightly injured. The police believed then that members of the Irish Republican Army placed a time bomb on a tradesman’s tricycle left standing in the street
