The Dominions Secretary, Mr. Anthony Eden, in the House of Commons stated that Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa are each sending a Cabinet Minister to London as soon as possible to confer with the British Government. He added that the Dominion Ministers will confer with the object of coordinating to the best advantage the contributions each will make to the common task. The conference should not be lengthy as the Ministers must return at the earliest possible time. The date of flic first meeting lias not been fixed. The Dominions Office announces that there is no question of departure from file principle of executive responsibility which remains with the Dominions individually. Reuter’s Agency understands that an Imperial War Cabinet, similar to that of the last war, is not contemplated though the Dominion Cabinet members will attend meetings of the British War Cabinet while here. A message from Pretoria says that the South African Minister of Native Affairs, Mr. Reitz, is going to London to represent the union at the Empire conference. He will arrange for the disposal of the Union’s agricultural produce and the early supply of guns, planes and munitions to Britain.
