A short offering of prime quality calves sold under a keen demand at fully firm levels. Other sorts were steady. Runners made from £5 5s to £9; heavy vealers £G 10s to £7 .9s, medium £5 10s to £6 Gs, light £4 to £5 Gs, small £3 3s to £3 16s, smaller £1 2s to £3 ss, bobby and rough Is to £1 ss. A small average pig entry was quoted firm on ruling rates. Extra heavy prime ewes and maiden woolly, 29s to 38s; heavy, 26s to 31s 6d; medium, 21s to 24s 6d; light, 18s to 23s 6d; unfinished, 7s Gd to 17s. There was an average entry of prime lamb, which sold steadily. Prime made 18sMo 395, others 3s to 17s. Spring lambs sold to 395.
