CARNIVAL ABANDONED
A decision to abandon the Whakatsihe Domain, improvement queen carnival and ;tp pjace the money already received in' ‘trust''was made at a meeting of delegates of sports bodies participating. It was estimated that about £230 had been raised when the outbreak of war caused a suspension o% activities.
