October 5, 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, October 4. A communique issued in Berlin by the German High _ Command states that fighting is still going on with scattered Polish troops in the territory between the former revised demarcation lines in Poland. Reports reaching Holland indicate that Herr Hitler is leaving Berlin to-night to lead a triumphal march by Gentian troops into Warsaw. He is to speak in the Reichstag on Friday. A message from Ankara states that the Polish Ambassador has been informed that Turkey does no,t recognise the partition of Poland. The Berlin correspondent of the New York Times says that the first account of the Bolshevisation of Polish territory to appear in the German press states that 500,000 pictures of M. Stalin and M. Lenin have been distributed among the poor in the West Ukraine alone. Up to 1,400,000 Communist hooks, with movies and gramophone records have kept abreast of the marching troops. The schools are being re-opened and teachers at evening classes are being instructed in the spirit in which the tuition of the future is to be given. Religion and Polish history are no longer to be taught. Propaganda work is being carried out among prisoners of war. Organisations are beingfounded in every village and hamlet. One of the principal duties of the organisations is to seek class enemies—from police, army officers, nobles, estate owners, and members of the Government.
