BRIGHTEST MONTH IN SIX DAILY AVERAGE 6.3 HR. September was the brightest month Gisborne has experienced since March last, and the total hours of sunshine exceeds that recorded in either Sepember, 1938, or September, 1937. The total for the month was 139.5 hr., which is an advance of 83.1 hr. on the total for June, the dullest month of the year.
