“There has been talk in some quarters that the State will take over our homes. God forbid that tin.; should take place,” said the Rev. A. Vi, EUifl’e, at (he annual meeting ot ihe Dunedin Presbyterian Social Service Association. The homes had been established with a definite Christian aim, and that aim was being kept to the forefront. “We hope,” said Mr. Elliffc, “that it will remain there m the future.”
