PIGEON’S FLIGHT A Gisborne pigeon fancie", Mr. A. O’Neill, received a surprise recently when a pigeon arrived at his loft after an absence of two yea”s. This bird, along with more than a dozen homing pigeons from Gisborne, was liberated at the Three Kings, 400 miles from Gisborne, in a race organised by the Poverty Bay Homing Pigccti Society. Mr. O’Neill’s bird has been the only one to show up to date.
