Bayly Scholarship

As a memorial to one of the finest Rugby players and administrators New Zealand ever had, the late Mr. Alf. Bayly, of Taranaki, a fund was raised, the interest on -which has for a number of years provided a scholarship tenable iat a Taranaki high school for two years. The tests comprise scholarship and athletics, and this year there were 30 entries from all over Taranaki. The winner was O. Berg, of Eltham, who was 100 points ahead of the next competitor, J. Thomas, Hawera.
