LIFE IN SUB-ARCTIC CHURCHILL, Man., Aug. 2. In the little Anglican mission church here, Miss Jean Warren Stephen, of Edinburgh, Scotland, was married yesterday to Peter Dalrymple, post manager at Baker Lake, in the sub-arctic, SUO miles north of Churchill,
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Alexander Stephen, of Edinburgh; the groom the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Dalrymple, Midlothian, Scotland. They will leave for their Baker Lake home on August* 7 where they plan to remain two years befoi e coming out for a holiday. » Mrs. Warren journeyed from Scotland alone for the wedding and never before has she been in the north country.
“I don’t know what kind of country I am going into,” she said. “That’s what makes it so interesting.”
