INSTRUCTION AWAITED Although the means of disposing of the surplus hides and sheepskins in New Zealand has not been decided upon yet, farmers are being urged to send their stocks to their merchants in the ordinary course. "‘As provided for under the price stabilisation emergency regulation, 1939, and amendment thereto, we have . disposed of certain hides and sheepskins as required by local tanners and l'ellmongers at prices equivalent to those ruling on September 1,” j stales Messrs. Company, Limited. , "The balance are still being held . until advice is received: from the Government of the United Kingdom as to the method of distribution to be employed during the war period. I "We expect we shall be able to make known soon the method of sale !'6r all produce. Meanwhile under Government instructions we are holding that produce not required for local consumption. All produce will be kept in the best possible manner, and any additional charges incurred will be met by the New Zealand Government. "We, therefore, ask clients to continue to send in their hides and skins in the normal manner.” j
