PEDESTRIAN KILLED
STRUCK BY CAR WALKING ON ROAD (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. Injuries which resulted in his death on Sunday morning at the Wanganui Hospital were received at Marion on Saturday night by John Joseph Stopforth, Te Awamutu. The accident occurred In Station street. Mr. Stopforth, who was walking on the bitumen roadway, was struck by a car driven by Frank Barry, Foxton.
