Food For Waitangi

While the Government will furnish most o'f the European food for the Waitangi celebrations —a national event —the Ngapuhis, who will 'be hosts to the representatives of southern tribes, have undertaken to provide dishes which are particularly palatable to the Maori. Arrangements for supplying pipis, potatoes, kumeras, irteat and poultry are already in hand.
