MECHANISING CAVALRY (Reed. Oct. 2, 9 a.m.) OTTAWA, Sept. 29. It is announced that the Canadian Expeditionary Force is conforming with the recent British War Office alterations in number and composition of such units, including the reducing of battalions to 680 men and the mechanising of the cavalry.
