ROTORUA FOUNTAIN
COUNCIL’S SUGGESTION
In an endeavour to add further to the attractions of Rotorua, efforts are being made by the Borough Council to secure for permanent erection in the Government Gardens or some other suitable location the large coloured fountain which is to be a feature of the Centennial Exhibition at Wellington. The initiative was taken by the advancement committee when it was reported that at the completion of the exhibition period next year the fountain would be offered for sale. The council decided to refer the suggestion to the Minister in charge of the Tourist Department.
