' A New Zealand Men’s Society and New' Zealand Women’s Society arc being organised for the welfare ot the soldiers here and those who are coming. Royal Air Force officers unanimously (lecit.’i. that youngsters from New Zealand, Australia and other Dominions show an amazing facility for mastering the art of flying. Volunteers from Sydney and Taranaki tell of their countrymen’s eagerness to get on with the job and are hopeful of becoming fully pledged pilots in three months. A New Zealand House official states that the New Zealand contingent being formed in London expects embodiment within two or three weeks. Over 500 offers for service already received have been regretfully turned down because the contingent is restricted to b.ona fide New Zealanders
