(Reed. Sept. 29, 2.30 p.m.) BERLIN, Sept. 28

(Herr Boehmer, chief of the Foreign Press Department of the Propaganda Ministry has appealed to foreign press representatives to help to disprove the allegations of the American journalist, Mr. H. R. Knicker bocker, that Nazi leaders have invested huge fortunes abroad. Herr Boehmer offered to endemnify foreign journalists for the expenses they incurred.

German officials in neutral countries have been ordered to obtain certified statements of the facts from foreign notaries. The German News Agency announced in Berlin to-day the formation. of a committee of .foreign journalists, including correspondents of all neutral countries, to examine the •‘Knickerbocker affair ”
