OBITUARY

YE. J. H. APED AIDE The death occurred in Hastings yesterday of Mr. John Henry Apeduile, of Wairoa, at the age of 60 years. Mr. Apeduile was born at East Cowton, Yorkshire. England, and came to New Zealand in 1913,'settling in Wairoa. A few years later he became a steward at the County Club and remained in that service until his death.

He was well known in Wairoa, for lie took a keen and active interest'in horticulture and sporting activities, particularly cricket and football. He leaves no family other than the widow, who is the daughter of Aiderman R. K. Fenwick, of Percy Main, England
