TRANSFER OF CHILDREN
TO AMERICA NEGOTIATIONS UNDER WAY (Reed. Sept. 30, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 29. Doctor James R. Angell, president •of the English Speaking Union, announced a plan to 'bring groups of English children to America for the duration of the war. He said there was a wide spontaneous interest, especially in the girls’ and boys’ schools. Therefore, he was negotiating with Washington so that necessary ’ steps could be taken.
