DOMINION THANKS

LORD BLEDISLOE’S OFFER USE OF RYDNEY PARK (Ter Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Viscount Bledisloe, the former Governor-General of New Zealand, having offered the use of his country estate, Rydney Park, Gloucester, as a hospital or convalescent home for New Zealand soldiers, the Government to-day dispatched to the High Commissioner in London, Mr. W. J. Jordan, the following cablegram:—

“Will you please convey to Viscount Bledisloe the Government’s warm appreciation of his generous offer of Rydney Park as a hospital or convalescent home for New Zealand soldiers. It is as yet too early to indicate the time when, or the extent to which it will be possible to take advantage of Lord Bledisloe’s offer, but the Government wishes to assure him it will avail itself of his generosity as and when circumstances would indicate.”
