AIRLINER FORCED DOWN
MISHAP IN AUSTRALIA (Reed. Sept. 23, 3 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 28.
A Douglas air-liner, which left Mascot aerodrome this morning for Brisbane, was forced down in bad weather. The pilot made a most skilful landing in Cook’s River, adjacent to the aerodrome. None of the passengers was injured. They merely stayed in their seats until rescued by boats.
