RAIN PREVENTS RACES
ROSEBERY MEETING BENEFIT TO TRACKS (Reed. Sept. 23, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 27. 'Much-needed rain which began to fall in Sydney overnight continued throughout to-day and caused a postpenement of to-day’s Rosebery races until to-morrow.
The rain will greatly benefit the Randwick course for the opening of the spring carnival on Saturday, and also soften the tracks for the final gallops.
